Terms and Conditions

  • Full payment of the tour cost must be made before the trip begins, Pending payments may lead to cancellation of the trip.
  • You can reserve your spot with an initial payment of INR 2500 per person. The rest of the amount must be paid 15 days before the tour starts.
  • Himalaya Venture is not responsible for any unforeseen situation during the tour, such as roadblocks or flight cancellations.
  • The IDs shall be verified before boarding. No tourist shall be entertained without a valid Govt ID.
     A. For children between the age group 5-8 years, 30% of the total cost will be charged.
    B. For children under the age group 5-8 years – No bed/extra mattress will be provided.
    C. For children above 8 years (considered adult) – Extra mattress will be provided.
  • Our time of departure is fixed, so keep in touch with our coordinator to stay updated.
  • Travelers must take care of their own luggage and belongings. The management will not be responsible for any damage or missing item.
  • Drinking and smoking are strictly prohibited during the tour due to health and safety reasons.
  • We donot provide any insurance policy to cover any sickness, accident or losses incurred due to theft or other reason.

Cancellation Policy

  • If the cancellations are made 15 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If the cancellations are made 10 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • No refund will be made, if canceled before 9 days of the start date of the trip.
  • No refund will be made once the tour starts. 
  • In case of unforeseen climate conditions or Govt. restrictions, certain activities may get cancelled. Our coordinator will try best to provide an alternate activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.

Itinerary

  • Today is your arrival day at Srinagar.
  • Our Representative will meet you at the Srinagar Airport, he will escort you to the hotel in Srinagar.
  • Check in at your pre booked hotel in Srinagar and if time allows go for some sightseeing of Dal Lake.
  • Over night stay at Hotel in Srinagar.

  • In the morning we will leave towards Wakha.
  • Travel distance and time (170km/6-7 hrs).
  • On the way we will cross the famous Sonamarg and Zojila pass.
  • Enroute we’ll visit War Memorial at Drass.
  • Drass is world’s second inhabited coldest place.
  • Evening visit to Maitreya Buddha at Mulbek (stone curved statue).
  • Overnight stay at Wakha.

  • Today Morning we’ll depart towards Leh.
  • Travel distance and time (180km /5-6hrs).
  • Crossing Namkila Pass and Fotula Pass.
  • Lamayuru popularly known for its Monastery and Moonland, a picturesque landscape resembles to the surface of the moon.
  • Enroute we’ll cross many famous places like Gurudwara Pathar Sahab, Magnetic Hill, Sham Valley etc.
  • Overnight stay at Leh.

  • Travel distance and time (130km / 5-6 hours).
  • We ride through the epic Khardung La Pass (17,982 feet) the highest motorable road .
  • The valley is known for the sand dunes with white rolling sands, and the sight of the double humped Bactrian Camels.
  • Diskit Monastery, the Monastery has 33m statue of Maitreya Buddha facing down the shayok river.
  • You can go for an adventure activities at Nubra valley as it is the hub for adventure activities, you can do ATV bike ride, Zip line, Rafting, Go karting and double humped camel ride.
  • Overnight stay at Swiss camp in Hunder (3150m).

  • Today we will ride towards Turtuk village and back to Hundar.
  • Travel distance and time (180 km / 6-7 hours).
  • which is the northernmost village in India situated in the Nubra Valley, on the banks of the Shyok river. It is the Balti region that was under Pakistan’s control until 1971, after which India gained control over this important area.
  • Turtuk is the last out-post of India at Thang after which Pakistan-controlled.
  • Gilgit-Baltistan begins.
  • Turtuk is famous for its varieties of fruits, especially apricots.
  • Overnight stay at Hundar.

  • We will ride towards Pangong Lake via Shayok Route (east of Ladakh ), on the border with China.
  • Travel time and distance (7-8 hours /180km approx).
  • You will reach the Lake by evening and you will be surprise to see such a beautiful lake in the middle of mountains.
  • Pangong Tso (high grassland lake) is a high altitude salt water lake, the lake is so huge that 70% of it is in China and 30% is in India.
  • Pangong lake altitude 4,225m.
  • Overnight stay at Pangong campsite.

  • Travel distance and time (180km /6-7 hours).
  • Today we will head back to Leh, early in the morning you will be able to capture a beautiful sunrise Time Lapse at the Pangong Lake.
  • On the way you will cross Chang La at an elevation of 5360m.
  • You will visit Thiksey Monastery built in 1430 AD and Rancho’s school.
  • Evening visit to Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace.
  • Overnight stay at Leh.
